Photo in greyscale.Irish designer-maker Doireann O’Riordan graduated from Glyndŵr University in Wales with a BA (Hons) in Applied Art: Jewellery & Silversmithing. Her studies allowed her to explore working in a multitude of media including metal, wood, glass, resin, felt, stone, paper, print and photography.

Doireann works with traditional techniques in silver to create handmade contemporary jewellery. Her distinctive conceptual designs explore how even the smallest moments and actions influence our lives. Moments that may seem insignificant at the time accumulate to shape the people we are today. Using silver intersecting lines, her elegant designs represent how all lives flow across one another, interconnected by time and chance. Each intersection symbolises one of these moments when our lives cross. Whether minute or momentous, each one is significant in the development of our personalities.
